We had a nice Thanksgiving at the Nelson house with family. Grace said Grace "Thank you God for our food." I was content even while watching the Seahawks lose for the 30th time this year. Life is just too good.
Okay, now I know why my sister Mindy always called this gobble gobble day. Boy did I eat. The girls and I made chocolate dipped pretzels while Amy whipped up a smoked oyster dip. Then across the field to Grandma's house for Turkey, two kinds of stuffing, two kinds of cranberry sauce (homemade and the kind shapped like a tin can for traditionalists) green bean casserole mashed taters and pumpkin pie. Did I forget anything? Nope I ate it all!
